A Historic Lakeside Retreat
The Aldrich House is one of the original summer cottages built in the late 1800s as part of the historic Bonni Castle Resort. Designed to host extended stays for vacationing guests, the cottage has long been a place of rest, gathering, and connection to the water.
Purchased by the Pendleton family in 1981, the Aldrich House retains the charm of its past while offering the comforts of a private retreat. The home features three bedrooms, a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, and a front porch overlooking the water—perfect for slow mornings, sunset views, and peaceful evenings by the lake.
Originally used for monthly stays, the Aldrich House opened to guests in 1996 and continues to provide a unique lodging experience for families, long-term visitors, and those seeking a more private stay. With its deep roots in the property’s resort history and its serene lakeside setting, the Aldrich House offers a rare opportunity to stay in a true piece of Bonnie Castle’s past—while enjoying all the warmth and hospitality the property is known for today.
